Taku is also an accomplished self-taught photographer whose photos have been used all over the world by agencies and individuals.
Garnering interest from advertisement agencies in Korea, Jamaica, Australia, United States, and here in Canada, Taku's photos have been used in places such as:
- The Intercontinental Hotel (Toronto)
- Photo was used as part of a mural on their restaurant wall and menu.
- Tourism Toronto web site
- Used as one of their main images to reflect a vibrant Toronto nightlife in the Yorkville area.
- Nortel Ad Campaign
- Photo was used as part of their ad campaign targeted for businesses. Ads ran in the United Kingdom and United States.
- Grace Foods web site
- A BBQ chicken photo was used on a web site for Grace foods.

- Although Taku originally started taking landscape photography, he enjoys taking a variety of other styles including portraiture, product, and candid photography. He has also taken several wedding photos, whose candid style has been popular with the bride and groom.
